Kre8tors are crafting for Dads & Grads

Welcome to June Kre8tors blog hop. This month, a group of about twenty designers is showing their takes on Dad and Grads. You are in for a treat. Just follow the "Next Arrow" image at the end of each post to see all the projects.

I decided to create a card for a dad. It is a very simple design. The background is just stamped with one of the birthday background stamps. It is stamped on the base as well as the white strip. The grey strip is first run through the big shot in a subtle embossing folder. Then it is glued on the white panel.
I stamped the words on whisper white in memento black ink and coloured each letter in a different colour marker and then I fussy cut the words. I don't know how about you but fussy cutting just calms me. Do you like to fussy cut?
The words are stuck on the grey strip with mini dimensionals. The final touch is some stars cut with Twinkle punch and glued on.

Measurements:
Bermuda Bay card base - 21 cm x 14.8 cm, scored on the longer side at 10.5 cm
Whisper White panel - 14.8 cm x 7 cm
Basic Gray panel - 14.8 cm x 3 cm

That's all from me. Are you ready to see more lovely projects?  Either click on the "Next" image below to see what talented Libby Fens came up with or choose a crafter by name from the list below.

  7. I am not a good fussy cutter at all and thus don't like it and avoid it whenever possible! I admire those who can do it well, and you even enjoy it! Great project. TFS
