Colouring Technique - Let's Get Hopping, Round #20

Hello and welcome to our May blog hop. Today we are featuring colouring techniques. There are so many different ways how to colour but my favourite is watercolour.  I am not an artsy painter but watercolour colouring makes me feel like one.

It is very simple. I coloured the elephants with an aqua painter and ink from an ink pad. The image is stamped in Stazon on watercolour paper.
Other papers and tools work well too. Can you tell from the photo below what brush I used with what paper?
As I mentioned already, the elephants are stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with an aqua painter and an ink pad (smoky slate and mossy meadow).
The lovey crocodile sits on shimmery white paper and it was coloured with a simple brush dipped into water and ink pad (granny apple green, pineapple crunch, poppy parade).
Lastly, but not least, the image of the glass of wine is on whisper white paper and the ink (merry merlot) was picked up with Wink of Stella. It gives the image a beautiful shimmer.

What combination of paper and a colouring tool would you pick? I also wonder what is the colouring technique that the others have chosen. Let's find out. The arrow below will take you to super talented Diana Tillery's blog. Enjoy the rest of the blog hop. Just follow the arrow at the end of each post.
