It was meant to be because a couple of hours later I had it all designed. It's funny, sometimes you can ponder for a day about an idea just to abandon it later and sometimes a card is done before the idea reaches my notebook.
I have to say I love what I was creating. All the bits of it. I finally played with the pennants framelits that were sitting on the shelf for some time and I dusted off one of my favourites - the large numbers. This dies set is, unfortunately, retired but not from my collection!
The panel sits on a standard (14.8 cm x 21 cm scored at 10.5 cm) very vanilla thick cardstock base. The panel itself is cut to create 2mm edge all around, so it measures 10.1 cm x 14.4 cm). For the frame, I used the 3rd and 4th largest rectangles and the ovals are the 4th largest scalloped and the 4th smallest regular oval.
I made a short video as well to show you how the card comes together. Enjoy!
Here is the full list of all the products I used to make this awesome card.
As it nearly is the end of the annual catalogue season (new catalogue is coming on June 3) there is a list of products that are retiring and we won't see them in the new catalogue. Have a look at what we are saying goodbye to. If you love it, get it!
Some of the stamp sets (wooden and clear-mount) are on the list but will carry over to the new catalogue as cling. If you'd like to check whether any of the sets you'd like to buy would be available in the new catalogue as cling, send me a message and I will let you know.
And as always, when you shop in my store you earn a special tutorial bundle. A dozen inspirational tutorials from different demonstrators from around the world! Still few days left to get April bundle before the new one kicks in.
