Thank You Card & Triangle Box

I love butterflies. And the Butterfly Gala bundle is just a perfect tool for me. Stamp and punch! It goes together as well as a card and a treat box.

While browsing the Pinterest I found a card made by Craft-Somnia momma that I really liked. I tweaked a few things I made this Thank You card.

My matching box is inspired by Stamping with Amore. It's super easy and fast to put it together. We made these in this month's Come and Stamp Along club. Everyone liked it. How about you? Is this your cuppa?

Make it with me! Here are the measurements and tutorial video. Enjoy!

The Card
Base - thick whisper white (14.8 x 10.5 cm)
First Layer - basic grey (14 x 9.7 cm)
Top Layer - whisper white (13.6 x 9.3 cm)
Stripes - botanical butterfly DSP - (14 x 3 cm and 14 x 1 cm)

The Box
Botanical butterfly DSP (8" x 6")

Just a Piece of Cake

Welcome to Kylie's Training blog hop where a group of gifted crafters from all around the world are showing their projects. There is no set theme so this hop will show a bit of nearly everything! Enjoy!

I was listening to Kylie's (recorded) live video this afternoon about the fact we all need a little push some time to stay on course and often we have to be one doing the pushing. So while I was munching on a snack that I didn't really need she mentioned the hop was on tomorrow morning and how she was looking forward to it. I missed a couple of last hops because I am not a very organised person; I clearly wasn't here to push myself and time just somehow flew by.

So I figured, plenty of time until tomorrow morning... let me push myself and join. So I did. And just when I was on the peak of my enthusiasm I realised that when she talks about tomorrow morning her time she means today evening over here. Aaaaaaggghhhhh! (or something in those lines came out of my mouth)...

And because "piece of cake" stamp set felt rather fitting on the situation, that's what I feature in my post today.

Here, two simple and easy cards to make. And you don't need everything that I used on these cards to create something similar. If you'd ask me a suggestion what to get, I'd put in your shopping basket the piece of cake bundle, the subtle embossing folder and two of your favourite colours of stampin' blends. And boom, you know what? Your order qualifies for a FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration! You can get a pack of the foil sheets for nothing. And guess what else you'd get with this? An exclusive tutorial bundle! Scroll to the very bottom of this post to see the sneak peek of it and find more details.

Shopping List (all below + black ink and a selection of Stampin' Blends)
And that's all from me. Stick around and see other projects. Just to help you to see where you are right now on the list, I am at #44. Go in a loop or hop zig zag, in any case, have fun!

Forever Lovely Valentine

Welcome to February Kre8tors blog hop. This month we are celebrating love. There are loads of crafters participating; make yourself a cuppa and enjoy the hop.

I decided to make a couple of cards. Very simple but elegant. The Forever Lovely stamp set is perfect for it.

I used the stamparatus so to make a couple of these was a fast action. The cards' size is not regular, it evolved around the coloured stock that I just happened to have cut already.

Measurements

Crumb cake base is 3 7/8" x 7 3/4" scored in the middle at 3 7/8"
Coloured stock 3 5/8" x 3 5/8"
Whisper White 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"

I made a tutorial video. Watch it to see how I made these cards as well as matching envelopes and find out what is the most common misuse of the envelope punch board (talking from my own experience).

Hope you enjoyed it. The Next button below will take you to the talented Jan Musselman. I am excited to see her project.

Simple Stamping

Hello and welcome to this month's Let's Get Hopping blog hop. This month we are showing projects withing #simplestamping guidelines. What is #simplestamping? Each month the Stampin' Up!® demonstrators receive creative parameters to make a card using just stamps, ink and paper and variable item. Last month it was a punch and this month it is designer series paper.

I used a Sale-a-Bration set called Hello Cupcake and How Sweet It Is paper. I couldn't just use one ink and not to use more of these beautiful colours that are coordinating with this paper.

I can't wait to see the projects of others, mainly because I am very interested in their interpretations as I found #simplestamping rather challenging. You can imagine my excitement when I found I will receive a little prize for my last month #simplestamping project.

Enjoy the rest of the blog. Follow the arrow below to visit talented Tracy Bish's site and see her take.
