Amazing Life

Hello and welcome to the first ever Stamping Around the World blog hop. We are a bunch of demonstrators from, yes, you guessed it, around the world and, together, we do two things.

Thing one - we create monthly tutorial bundles. It's a compilation of several detailed tutorials prepared by us, using different products for diversity. In the UK the bundle is valued £11 and anyone can purchase it here or by following a link on the right side of my blog.
Or one can get this bundle for FREE with a qualifying order. The amount spent depends on the country of residence. In the UK it is £46. And you what else one gets for this? Free Sale-a-bration product!

That brings me to the second thing that we do and that is this blog hop. It compliments the bundle by showing more projects made from the featured products. My project in the bundle is showing Amazing Life stamp set. So here are two additional simple cards made with the same set.

I love all the colours on the first card. The letters are coloured in with stampin' blends and they match the ribbons perfectly. Shop with me and get the ribbons for free as they are from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. The second card is also using a Sale-a-Bration item, the beautiful botanical designer series paper. It complements beautifully Gingham Gala Suite from the new Spring/Summer catalogue.

Do you like these cards? Get your supplies from the list below and have a go at them. I'd love to see your takes.
But before you do that scroll to the very bottom of this post to see the links to the other posts in this blog. Enjoy!

Kre8tors Blog Hop - Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hello and welcome to the Kre8tors first blog hop of this year. This month we played a bit of tic-tac-toe, which is a fun way to decide what we would use in our projects.

I was thrilled to see a 3D item field as I just gotten a pack of gorgeous foil sheets that, I thought, would be perfect to make a gift bag from. So that's what I did.

I use the gift bag punch board. I have one for some time but I didn't use it much so I thought, what a perfect opportunity to take it out of the drawer. The board offers 3 different bag sizes - small, medium and large. I decided to make the medium size. The finished box measures 8cm x 5cm x 18.5cm (3 1/8" x 2" x 7 1/4"). The paper size needed is 11" x 7 1/4". For the fastening, I used a cord measuring about 50cm (approx 20") and sequin trims are 25cm (approx 10").

Here is a video showing how I made this bag. Have a go at it with me.

If you'd like to purchase any of the supplis from the list don't forget for every £45 spent you can choose an item from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue.  It will also give you a FREE pdf tutorial bundle of ten different projects!

Birthday Statements

Hello and welcome to another blog hop put together by a group of gifted crafters from all around the world. This hop doesn't have a common theme, so grab yourself a cup of tea and enjoy tons of our creativity.

I made these two cards to show you using brand new Birthday Statements cling stamp set*. The one on the left (white background) is very simple - the image is stamped in black ink and then it's coloured with Stampin' Up! writing markers I touched up the balloon with a Melon Mambo watercolour pencil just to give it a tiny bit of colour.

The card on the right (black background) is a little more involved but also very easy. The main image is stamped with versamark and then heat embossed with a white powder. And then I coloured the image using the same colours as on the left, only this time I used watercolour pencils only. First, I coloured everything with a white pencil, with very light pressure and then I used colours.
On both cards, I used the wink of Stella on all the balloon to give them a bit of sparkle. Which card do you like more? I like both of them too! Why not try to make them yourself? Scroll to the very bottom of this post for the complete shopping list. Don't forget for every £45 spent in my store you earn one Sale-a-Bration item (between now and March 31)! On top of it, I'd send you this month Tutorial Bundle that includes tutorials from ten different crafters. How exciting is all that?

* I mentioned already the set I worked with is called Birthday Statements. I should also point out this set is cling set. Cling stamps newly developed rubber stamps that won't fall of your acrylic block or shift while stamping. Watch the video below how to assemble and care for them. I love mine
