Masculine Happy Birthday - Stamp 'N Hop

Hello and welcome to another Stamp 'N Hop blog. The theme for this months is masculine creations. You probably arrived from the talented Laura Mackie's blog and saw some projects already. If you just started on mine I hope this is an enjoyable start. In any case, follow this blog through and have fun.

I have to admit, the masculine theme is my kryptonite. I am always thinking of dark or very neutral colours. I tried not to go with these this time. Pacific Point blue is quite bright, in my opinion, and it blends nicely with any green, in my opinion. I choose to compliment the pacific point - shaded spruce - soft seafoam colour combo with some gold stars. I thought the project needed something extra but with already busy background paper I didn't want to add too much.

Do you like my card I created today? Let me know! Below is the list of the products you can get and make the card yourself. Or join me and other crafters at Come and Stamp Along club that runs every month in Dunton Green.  Check the club schedule here.

Tabs for the Planner

Recently, a friend of mine moved to a new house. I made her this fussy cut card. First, I wasn't planning of fussy cut everything but to be honest, once I started I couldn't stop! The flowers are coloured with the alcohol blends. I love working with those. This specific paper I used is unfortunately no longer available; it was called Inside the Lines and it was great for colouring projects.

Together with this card I also gave my friend the new Stampin' Up! planner. She loves to make lists to stay super organised so I thought it would be just perfect for her. I love using mine. Its perk is you can start using it at any time of the year and further decorated if desired.

I like using my own tags in my planner as well so I included few for my friend too. Of course, all colour coordinated. I used Tabs for Everything stamp set and the punch to create these. I put together this little fun (learning curve) video.
