I am taking part in the inspire.create challenge. This time it is a colour combo dare and I have to say I find these always stretching my mind. Putting together colours I probably wouldn't choose. You can also jump on board with your projects as well. The inspire.create.challenges are running fortnightly and are a great source of inspiration.
I am happy with my take. I crafted this shaker card with a lovely friend in my mind to let her know I'm thinking of her while she is not that well these days.
The green base of the card is Shaded Spruce colour. The rose from the Healing Hugs set is stamped in Powder Pink ink on a shimmery white cardstock. It gives the whole card a nice spark. The leaves and stars are Coastal Cabana coloured (the leaves are stamped off to give a softer look). The stars are cut out with a Twinkle Builder punch. I glued some of the stars on the frame and the acetone sheet of the window as well. They are all in the corresponding colours. The frame is created with the two biggest square dies from the Stitched Shapes set. I always use a washi tape to hold the dies in place when cutting these frames with my BigShot.
You can get any or all and more beautiful crafting supplies I used to make this card by just following the links below.
If you like the card, leave me a comment to let me know!
