Pick a Pennant - Watercolour Challenge

One day I saw on Instagram a very pretty card made by a crafting superstar Susan Wong. I complimented her work, as you would, and carried on with my day. At the end of the day, I saw Susan, casually mentioning under my comment that she would like to see my take.

And here it is. My watercoloured globe image. I'm quite happy with especially because I can't draw to save my life. It is not perfect by any means but my kids think it looks awesome, so there.

The background clouds are made with dies from Up & Away thinlits set. The sentiment is stamped with individual letters from the Pick a Pennant set (available in June). And let me tell you, lining up the letters was a bigger challenge than water-colouring the globe. In the end, I found it was much easier and faster to stamp if I lined up the letter vertically. It would work well with markers as well if you'd like to make the words more colourful.

The card was created with these supplies (minus Pick a Pennant)
