Picture Perfect Birthday - February Birthday Club

The first class in the birthday series. What a great opportunity to show The Picture Perfect Suite. I love it for its diversity. The matching paper is fantastic. So many pretty colours! The combinations are endless. I like this set more every time I use it.

The card on the left features Berry Burst bow, Black sentiment and Lemon Lime Twist sequins. The one on the right has Berry Burst sentiment, Lemon Lime Twist bow and Pool Party sequins. It sounds like many colour components but the party paper tight is back just right. You could stamp for hours and still not to use all the colour possibilities! If you are a new crafter wondering what to get to start with, I'd recommend this for sure.

On the card above I used versa mark and clear embossing powder just to give the card a little bit of a spark but I could have, as easily, used the ink spots that are part of the suite. Again, another great reason for this suite to be a part of a start kit.

The last card combines the photo like Picture Perfect Birthday suite paper and simple words from Amazing You and Celebrate You set available for free in the Sale-a-bration catalogue with a qualifying order.

Party Pandas Valentine

The February class crew made a beautiful Valentine's card using Party Pandas set and a matching cute little box fitting a Lindor chocolate bonbon. Party Pandas if one of those set you can get for free until the end of March. It is such a cute and fun set!

The sentiment is created with alphabet set, stamped in Berry Burst on a white cardstock. I left a tiny margin around and glued the letters on Calypso Coral base.
The balloon was originally without a colour but at the end decided to colour it in. It's stamped on a piece of scrap, cut out and glued on. It was coloured with the SU! blends. They are so easy to use and created cool shading effects. If I can do it, anyone can!

The box is not my design, I found the inspiration on the Paper Pixie, Julie DiMatteo's site. It is quite simple that looks just great so I decided to share it further and wanted to show you how I made it.  So I recorded this little video for you.

Magical Mermaids - Occasions 2018 Stamp 'N Hop

Hello from the UK and welcome to the February Stamp 'N Hop blog hop. Talented crafters from all around are sharing with you their favourite items from the Spring/Summer 2018 catalogue.

I want to show you these beautiful mermaids. They are a part of Myths & Magic Suite. I noticed this suite in the new catalogue and loved it straight away but this is the first time I had a proper play. And I love it even more.

The mermaids and seahorses are stamped and cut with matching dies. I had so much fun colouring these. I used a variety of the SU! blends. Just whatever colour I fancied.

When I was creating the water (die cut from the Myth & Magic glimmer paper) I wanted to add loads of bubbles and found a suitable stamp in You're Inspiring set. I think it works well together with the waves. Do you like the card? Why not let me know in the comments section below.

Here is a complete list supplies I used to make this card:

I hope you feel inspired. If you'd like to make this card, or any similar, get in touch with me or have a look at my classes schedule and consider to join us in stampin'. I'd love to craft with you!

Now go and hop! Have a look what other projects are featured by other crafters. Click on the image below to visit Melissa Tennison and see her creation!

Green Hearts Everywhere #showthelove

Turn the UK Green on Valentine's Day!

Next Wednesday is the Valentine's Day and I am working on a very exciting project in its connection.

I'm participating in the "Make, Wear and Share a Green Heart" initiative annually organised by The Climate Coalition. Through hand-made green hearts, I am spreading The Climate Coalition awareness and its efforts to action against climate change.

So, in the last couple of days, I sent out crochet green hearts to my friends. I handed them out to strangers too. I made this cute card for everyone wearing my heart as a thank you for spreading the word.

I made a little video how I created the hearts. Want to grab a hook and yarn and have a go at it after watching it? Great! If you are not a crafter but you'd like to #showthelove, please, do get in touch and I will equip you!
