June Class

Phew, what a busy couple of months this was. I'm not sure where time goes, honestly. At the beginning of the month, as usually, I held a couple of classes and these are three projects we made.

Perfect Day Card

First we made this beautiful card with a punch and a couple of stamp sets. I made few variations of the card by changing the sentiment. Turned out great everytime.

The insert is stamped with Timeless Textures (fantastic set for making backgrounds) to make a nice edge.

The flower is made with two-steps technique and then punch out. The leaves are cut with scissors and then glued on the card. The petals are aranged and glued on a scrap circle so you are allowed to go over them with a bone folder to make them more dimentional.

For the first time I used, now my favourite tool, Wink of Stella brush. Until now I used (not often at all) wink of stella pens and I am fairly sure I would never choose them over the brush! The brush makes the application of glittering sparkles super easy. It's a brilliant addition to any project, really.

Simple New In Colours Card

After the Blossom Builder punch card, the next card was, easy, clean and simple. And the main purpose of this card was to show off the new Stampin' Up! In Colours.

For those unfamiliar with the term, the SU! has 4 main sets of colours (neutrals, brights, regals and subtles) plus 2 sets of five colours that are used and available only for 2years periods.

These colours are called Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig.
I liked them all. My favourite combo for now is the Berry Burst and Lemon Lime.

These were quick and easy to make. The punched circles are on dimentionals and have metalic thread behind.

Tealight Holder

The last thing we made at this class was this tealight holder. The little box is made with a fabulous envelope punch board.

This board shouldn't have the word "envelope" in its name as it's too leading and trust me, it does so much more. There definitely will be more projects using the board. But back to the box. It is not my idea, how to make it. I saw this video on youtube and simply loved it. I changed the decoration of the box and came up with the cute way to send a little message as well. The tealight is a standard size from Ikea.
In any case... what a great idea for a tiny gift to warm someone's heart!
